Woking Debates' next debate is 'Why Is There Still Famine?' and will be held on Saturday 27th April, 11am - 12.30pm at United Reform Church, White Rose Lane, GU22 7HA. Despite international aid and huge advances in food production, 309 million people in 72 countries face hunger that the UN defines as at a crisis level or worse and over a million people are currently experiencing famine. Nataly Anderson from the Green Party is confirmed to speak, and other speakers will be announced nearer the date. There will be ample opportunity for everyone to share their views and concerns about this topic. Entrance is free (donations welcome) Come for tea/coffee from 10.30am
