To promote religious harmony for the benefit of the public in Woking and environs by:
promoting knowledge, mutual understanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of different faiths
advancing education and understanding of different beliefs including an awareness of their distinctive features and their common ground to promote good relations between people of different faiths
securing a more prominent role for faith organisations in regeneration of their communities by participating in the delivery of Woking’s Neighbourhood initiatives
celebrating the important contribution that religious faith makes to the lives of the local community
addressing issues of ignorance, prejudice and social exclusion to improve the quality of life of all the people of Woking
promoting responsible living and care for the environment
