Loggerhead Turtles: A Conservation Talk

Jonathan Newell from RHS Wisley will be sharing fascinating insights into his recent conservation work in Crete with loggerhead turtles. Jonathan has extensive experience teaching science, both abroad and locally (including at Merrist Wood and Woking Sixth Form College). His talk will include the impact of climate change on these wonderful creatures and what we can do to be good ecotourists. Be prepared for amazing photographs and in-depth knowledge from an experienced and lively speaker. This talk is free, child-friendly, and open to all - you are welcome to bring along friends and neighbours. Thursday, November 30th, at 7:30 pm in the Function Room at St Dunstan’s Catholic Church, Shaftesbury Road, Woking, GU22 7DT. Parking available on site - Light Refreshments afterwards.
