Voter ID information

WBC would like you to be aware of the local election taking place on Thursday 4 May and an important new requirement for voters to show photo ID before voting at polling stations.

The following ID will be accepted:
• Passport
• Driving licence (including provisional licence)
• Blue badge
• Certain concessionary travel cards
• Identity card with PASS mark (Proof of Age Standards
Scheme)
• Biometric Immigration document
• Defence identity card
• Certain national identity cards
You can also use an expired photo ID, if the image still looks like you. You can check the full list of accepted photo ID at www.electoralcommission.org.uk/voterID

Residents without or suitable photo ID are encouraged to apply for a free Voter Authority Card.
