Coronation Champions Award

In honour of Their Majesties’ service to the country, the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) has launched the Coronation Champions Awards for volunteers, an official Coronation project, linked to the Big Help Out.

 

The RVS is encouraging individuals, charities and organisations to submit nominations for volunteers aged 14 and over from all backgrounds and communities across the UK, who have been giving their time to a variety of causes, formally and/ or informally, within the last five years. A total of 500 volunteers will be chosen as Coronation Champions and will receive a specially designed, official Coronation Champions pin and a signed certificate from The Queen Consort. There is also a ‘Young Coronation Champions’ category for those aged 14 to 18. All Coronation Champions will be offered the opportunity to attend an official Coronation celebration such as the Windsor Castle Coronation Concert or a Coronation Garden Party.
