Thought for the Week: Love

There is a love far greater than a Hallmark card once a year.

Every day I get a love letter through God’s creation. Whether it is a sunrise / sunset, birdsong or a flower unfurling from its bud, the rain or the wind pushing at my back – it’s all God reminding me that He’s there loving me every minute of every single day.

And lately, it seems there is no escaping the hatred that people are showing towards each other, whether we read social media, a newspaper or turn on the news channels. May we be reminded this Valentine’s Day – a day of love, to “Let us love one another, for love comes from God” 1 John 4:7
