Thought for the Week: God laughs

“If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans’. This is a quote from Woody Allen, who believes the original is an old Yiddish proverb. “We plan, God laughs”.

We can certainly relate to this proverb as we face the situation we are now in. A lot of people have been tripled jabbed, so they thought they they could see a way forward to Christmas and the New Year. Now Omicron has arrived, God is only laughing at our lack of humility.
