The Ladies met for another coffee morning on Saturday 13th March at 11am. This time there were five Christians, two Muslims and one Buddhist, so eight women altogether. Our theme was what we were most looking forward to doing after lockdown. It was interesting that the majority said that they wanted to meet with friends and family. A few were looking forward to going on holiday. Everyone wondered whether life would ever return to normal. One lady had enjoyed working from home and had not missed the daily commute. There was a horrific tale of moving to a new house, where the person concerned had stayed in a hotel for two nights until she could move into her new flat. We were all interested to hear how the restrictions had added to her tale of woe. Some ladies were late arriving, but just slotted into the conversation and participated. We look forward to our next coffee morning.
