Interfaith Walking Pilgrimage – Knaphill

Saturday 15th November, 10 am – 2 pm
Theme: Diverse Beliefs: United Action

Join Woking People of Faith for a peaceful and inspiring Interfaith Walking Pilgrimage through Knaphill — a journey of friendship, faith, and community. Together, we’ll walk between local places of worship, meeting faith representatives along the way and learning about the beliefs and traditions that enrich our town.

This event is open to people of all faiths and none — everyone is welcome to take part!

🗺️ The Route

Our pilgrimage begins at Knaphill Methodist Church (Broadway, GU21 2DR), where we’ll gather at 10:00 am for introductions and a short reflection with Rev Paul Glass.

We’ll then walk together to:

  1. Wat Phra Dhammakaya Buddhist Temple1–2 Brushfield Way, GU21 2TG (Arrive around 10:40 am)
    → Hear about Buddhist teachings and mindfulness practices.

  2. Woodhill ChurchChobham Road, Knaphill, GU21 2SX (Arrive around 11:50 am)
    → Learn how this local church serves the community.

  3. St Hugh of Lincoln Catholic Church95 Victoria Road, GU21 2AA (Arrive around 1:00 pm)
    → Bazaar of faiths, hear from Baha'i, Muslim, Hindu and Jewish faiths while enjoying light refreshments.

🅿️ Free parking is available at Englefield Road Car Park, just a short walk from the starting point.
