Commemorative Mass on Holocaust Memorial Day

The local Catholic Church in Weybridge, Christ Prince of Peace, hold a commemorative Mass on Holocaust Memorial Day each year for victims of the Shoah

They requested the attendance of a representative from N W Surrey Synagogue and, with the enthusiastic agreement of their Parish Priest Father David Murphy, Philip Goldenberg said Kaddish at the end of Communion, and they jointly lit a Yahrzeit candle.

Philip said afterwards: “A lovely group of people, and it was a privilege to join them.”
